There are 3 different levels of privileges on Switchboard: user, moderator, and steward. "User" privileges are just the basic functionality on the front-end (e.g. posting asks/offers, commenting, and messaging) and back-end (e.g. profile editing, editing interests, and adjusting personal settings), but "moderator" and "steward" privileges are different. Ultimately, both provide access to Switchboard data and administrative functionality, but to varying degrees, to help you serve the Switchboard's mission and uphold the community standards. Moderators can access the "Oversight" section of the dashboard, giving them the ability to delete or clear flagged posts and ban or approve members.
